Royal Caribbean International is expanding its Singapore deployment into a year-round programme from October 2026, giving Indian travellers more opportunities to explore Southeast Asia on shorter cruise holidays.
TIRUN Travel Marketing, the cruise line’s exclusive representative in India, said Navigator of the Seas will be based in Singapore throughout the year, operating two- to five-night itineraries covering destinations in Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand. Ports on the programme include Penang, Kuala Lumpur via Port Klang and Phuket.
The expanded deployment strengthens Singapore’s positioning as a fly-and-cruise gateway for the Indian market, particularly given its air connectivity with major Indian cities. The shorter itineraries also allow travellers to build cruise holidays around school breaks, festive periods and long weekends, potentially widening the appeal beyond traditional cruise travellers to families, couples and multigenerational groups.
The programme will also feature a 12-night Tokyo-Singapore sailing, offering a longer regional itinerary that brings together multiple Asian destinations in one holiday.
“Singapore has consistently been one of the most preferred cruise gateways for our guests, and a year-round deployment gives travellers greater flexibility to plan their holidays while opening up more opportunities to discover Asia by sea,” said Varun Chadha, CEO, TIRUN Travel Marketing.
Onboard, Navigator of the Seas combines its Southeast Asian itineraries with attractions including Splashaway Bay, The Blaster waterslide, entertainment and a range of dining options.
The wider Asia-Pacific programme will also see Voyager of the Seas operate from Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo between January and April. Its deployment includes Singapore-Hong Kong sailings, shorter cruises from Hong Kong to destinations such as Ishigaki and Okinawa in Japan and Vietnam, as well as longer Tokyo departures timed around the cherry blossom season.
For Indian travel advisors, the expanded deployment adds more flexibility to packaging Southeast Asia, with the combination of accessible embarkation points, shorter cruise durations and multiple departure periods creating scope for cruise-plus-land itineraries.
Bookings for the extended Singapore season open on 19 August 2026 through TIRUN Travel Marketing and its network of travel partners across India. TIRUN has represented Royal Caribbean Group brands in India for more than three decades and provides support ranging from cruise reservations to airfare, visas, travel insurance and pre- and post-cruise arrangements.
