August 14, 2026 | Press Release
StarDream Cruises has launched its latest India-focused campaign, ‘Blockbuster Vacations’, as it looks to drive demand for cruise holidays during the August–December 2026 travel season.
The campaign was unveiled at The Confluence 2026, StarDream Cruises’ annual Preferred Sales Agent (PSA) Leadership Conference, held in India from August 11–13. The event brought together travel partners from across the country and also recognised the cruise line’s top-performing sales agents.
Positioned around the tagline “Everything You Want. One Blockbuster Vacation,” the campaign brings together dining, entertainment, activities, relaxation and destinations as part of a single cruise holiday experience.
Rather than focusing on one type of traveller, StarDream Cruises is using six campaign themes to target different holiday occasions: Blockbuster Deals, Blockbuster Experiences, Blockbuster Escapes, Blockbuster Celebrations, Blockbuster Groups and Blockbuster Weddings. The themes cover family holidays, romantic getaways, celebrations, group travel, corporate incentives and destination weddings.
The campaign will run across digital and social media platforms, travel trade channels, partner activations and consumer marketing initiatives.
Speaking at The Confluence 2026, Naresh Rawal, Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, StarDream Cruises India, said India remains an important fly-cruise market for the company, adding that travel partners have played a key role in bringing Indian travellers onboard.
The conference also marked the first public showcase of the Blockbuster Vacations campaign film and an original campaign anthem, which will be used across StarDream Cruises’ digital campaigns, social media, events and promotional activities.
Travel partners take centre stage
Alongside the campaign launch, StarDream Cruises recognised its top Preferred Sales Agents for their contribution to business growth, customer engagement and the development of cruise tourism in India during 2025.
The top three PSA award winners were:
- ARK Holidays LLP
- D’Pauls Travel and Tours Limited
- Carrot Cruises Shipping Private Limited
The focus on travel partners comes as StarDream Cruises continues to build its India business through the trade, with the company positioning cruises as an option for a wider range of holiday occasions rather than simply a traditional leisure product.
Launched in March 2025, StarDream Cruises operates two brands—StarCruises and Dream Cruises. StarCruises focuses on lifestyle-led cruising aboard mid-sized ships, while Dream Cruises targets the premium segment with larger vessels and enhanced amenities.
The fleet includes Star Voyager, Star Navigator and Genting Dream, with Genting Dream operating year-round from Singapore on itineraries across Southeast Asia.
With Blockbuster Vacations now rolling out across consumer and trade channels, StarDream Cruises is seeking to turn the growing interest in cruise holidays in India into a broader range of bookings spanning leisure, celebrations, groups, incentives and weddings.
