Spotted Madame Tussauds Budapest during my recent visit and obviously the first thing I did was click a picture and send it to Gaurav Seth. 😂
And that’s when it hit me… some people unofficially become the brand ambassador of a brand without even trying. You don’t remember the marketing campaign. You remember that one person who made you feel positive about it.
Cruises remind me of certain people.
Hotels remind me of certain people.
Destinations remind me of certain people.
Because in the end, brands don’t build emotional connection… people do.
Which is why no matter how smart AI gets, it still can’t replace that one excited friend, passionate colleague, over-enthusiastic salesperson or content creator who genuinely connects you to a brand.
AI can recommend.
Humans can influence.
And honestly… half the travel industry is just people convincing other people to spend money with a smile anyway!
